Penalties and Fines

In 2011 Flamboro Speedway race management has introduced a new penalty system.  Rule infractions will now be policed using point and monetary fines.  Drivers will keep their official finishing positions in the posted race results, however their purse monies, driver points and owners points may be affected by the penalties to be assessed post-race by speedway race management.  The most visible difference in race finishes will be that disqualified drivers are not removed or put to the back, and the remaining drivers are not moved forward in the lineup.

Each week under the race results we will post any penalty notes for that week to recognize any rule infractions served post-race.  This page will be a public record of any Fines assessed by the speedway.  Any purse monies fined away from a driver will be recycled back into the driver point fund (not perfect attendance) where all drivers, including those who have been penalized, will have an opportunity to benefit and share in the added monies.

MS#01 Mark DaSilva was served a penalty for failing to pass post-race technical inspection.  Penalty details: both driver and owner were fined 108 points, and $60 to the team (total earned at the night's event).

Race Date: April 21

TC#10 Dennis Cybalski was served a penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct for post-race actions.  Penalty details: both driver and owner were fined 99 points, and $50 to the team (total earned at the night's event).
